Voiceover Artist
Under
the names of Deven Mack, Jr. and D-Mac Double, I’ve
been providing free voiceover work for amateur productions since October 2004.
Over time, I’ve become incredibly versatile in regards to my vocal range, and I
specifically enjoy working in any sort of high energy, character-based style.
To date I’ve provided voices for well over 200 amateur productions. This site
mainly focuses on my roles in productions which are now completed.
Voice Direction and
Casting Assistance
In accordance with the vision of the flash producer and their script, I work
with actors to ensure they deliver strong vocal work with a full understanding
of their characters and scenarios, which is integral towards truly bringing
characters and scenes to life.
My Full List of Duties Includes:
-
Holding and screening auditions for vacant roles, based on
character and story criteria provided by the flash producer.
-
Reporting back with audition results and working with the flash
producer to determine the final cast.
-
Proofreading scripts before distributing them to actors via
e-mail, and establishing deadline dates for their line recordings.
-
If necessary, requesting line re-takes from actors for various
reasons (distorted audio quality, breathing too closely into mic, incorrect
emotion/pronunciation, etc.)
-
Standardizing all received audio files (balance volume levels,
remove static/background noise, rename files in order of script appearance)
-
Reporting back to the flash producer with finalized script recordings.
-
Having actors record additional audio, should the flash producer
request any.
